The Bi-Folding Kits for 8 Doors offer a versatile solution, with a door weight capacity of up to 330lbs and compatibility with door widths from 9" to 21" and thicknesses from 1.18" to 1.77". The Basic Barn Door Hardware Kit, on the other hand, can accommodate door weights up to 220lbs and thicknesses from 1.18" to 1.96".

When it comes to the distance between the ceiling and the top of the door, the recommended minimum is 4". Additionally, if the material of your walls does not allow for many holes or sufficient weight capacity, you may need to install a header board.

The box rail for our barn doors is designed to fit door widths up to 30" and can support door weights up to 330lbs (150kg). The minimum distance from the top of the door to the ceiling is 4" (100mm), and the kit is suitable for door thicknesses ranging from 1" to 1.81" (25-46mm).
